I am so excited to serve Christ Church Parish!!!
As a cradle Episcopalian and Christian educator, I have been in and around the church most of my life.Growing up in northeast Ohio, church was a regular part of my small town life. Choir, confirmation, youth group, and the annual antique show and sale filled much of my time. After graduating from the University of Akron in 1981 I taught school for a few years while working toward a Masters degree in Applied Politics at the University of West Florida. That led to Atlanta where I worked, for a time, with a regional political consulting firm helping to manage political campaigns across the southeast. Not long after moving to Atlanta Todd, my husband, and I found a parish home, where we taught Sunday school and reengaged wholeheartedly with a parish community.

Working in the church allowed me to explore God’s call in new and different ways. My deep love of the church and of children worked together well in the parishes where I served as the Director of Education. It was in those experiences over the years that I gradually came to discern a call to serve God and the Church in a different way, as a priest.

Following three wonderful years at the General Theological Seminary in New York City my family and I returned to Atlanta and I accepted a call to serve Holy Innocents’, a large suburban parish.

My work covered the spectrum of parish ministry; from the formation of children and families to liturgy and pastoral care to community life. No matter the title or responsibility I am committed to facilitating our first attachment to the divine with silence, prayer, and service. My fervent prayer is that I help hold open space that allows us to continually discern how God calls us daily to participate in kingdom living.

I am married to Todd Broadbridge and we have 2 wonderfully grown sons, Ned and Frank, a very jumpy dog, Tinkerbelle, a docile cat, Sooki, and a grateful turtle, Myrtle.

I love to read and I’m trying to write a little. I enjoy knitting and sewing and cooking. Todd and I love going to the movies and look forward to taking full advantage of Portland’s diverse and lively art and music scene.
