Thanks to the generosity of individuals and businesses in our area, the annual Outreach Auction at Christ Church Episcopal Parish has been able to raise funds to meet a growing number of needs in our local communities and beyond. Our 2022 live and hybrid auction helped to support 12 Outreach ministry programs last year.
We need your assistance to continue this effort as needs continue to grow in our troubled economy. Donations of services, merchandise, gift certificates or cash are welcome. Your donations will help programs such as:
- Support feeding of the hungry in downtown Portland 52 weeks per year through Potluck in the Park.
- Fund a mentoring program for at-risk Portland children and their families, provide backpacks and school clothes for children and help emergency food banks in our area cover much-needed extended hours.
- Provide funds for medical care programs for abandoned youth and the most poverty stricken in Peru and fund salaries for teachers at a school in Uganda.
- Continue to provide leadership and workers to support Habitat for Humanity, and through LOTSM, Lake Oswego Transitional Ministries, help fund two homeless shelters in Lake Oswego.

All the programs supported by us, including those in other countries, have parish and community volunteers directly involved throughout the year. Our members work with programs that often do not receive funding from government or other community sources. Without your help, many people served by these programs may receive no support in their often-difficult lives.
Please help us make the upcoming 40th Annual Outreach Auction, which will be held April 29th, 2023, from 5-8PM at Christ Church, a success. Your contribution is fully tax-deductible, and all money raised at the auction goes directly to our outreach programs.
In the hope of your participation, a procurement form is attached for your convenience. You may return the form to the church via mail, or arrangements may also be made for donation pickup. Please call me with any questions.
