Our Director

Betsy Lake graduated from the University of Oregon, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology. While raising her three children, she volunteered at the elementary, junior high and high school levels, including appointments to the School Advisory Committee and local PTA Board. She served for several years on the Waverly Children's Home Guild raising funds for what is now Trillium Family Services. Working with children in the school setting has been an important part of her life for over sixteen years.

She has been at Christ Church Episcopal Preschool since it's inception over 11 years ago. She has taught in the 3-year old classroom, the 4-year olds, & Pre-Kindergarten classes. She has enjoyed watching the preschool expand, the children grow, and getting to know the wonderful families.
